This
robust
tool
is
suitable
for
all
common
industrial
materials,
such
as:
Unalloyed
and
low-alloyed
steels
up
to
800
N/mm²
strength,
malleable
iron
and
non-ferrous
metals.
Bolt
diameter
13.82mm
To
cut
an
external
thread,
the
workpiece
must
already
have
a
nominal
diameter
of
the
desired
thread.
The
workpiece
should
be
clamped
into
a
vice
with
the
side
to
be
cut
facing
up.
The
die
is
applied
and
rotated
until
the
desired
length
of
the
thread
is
reached.
It
is
recommended
that
the
die
be
reversed
slightly
every
now
and
again
so
that
the
chips
break,
fall
out
and
do
not
clog
up
the
threads.
Lubrication
with
cutting
oil
is
recommended.
This
reduces
the
effort
and
increases
the
service
life
(durability)
of
the
die.
