Theraflu ExtraGrip 10 sachets is a drug used to treat cold and flu symptoms in adults and children over 12 years of age. It has the form of a powder intended for the preparation of an oral solution with a lemon flavor.
Theraflu ExtraGrip – active ingredientsTheraflu ExtraGrip contains paracetamol, which has an analgesic and antipyretic effect, phenylephrine hydrochloride, which reduces swelling and nasal congestion, and pheniramine maleate, which alleviates allergy symptoms.
When you get a cold or flu, it is usually accompanied by other ailments, such as a headache, fever or runny nose. Theraflu Extra Grip is a multi-ingredient medicine that starts working in about 10 minutes, created to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu.
Theraflu Extra Grip helps lower fever, relieve headache, and unblock your nose.
This is an effective cold medicine that dissolves in hot water to create an oral solution with a natural lemon flavor.
Treating cold and flu symptoms, including:
- fever and chills,
- muscle pain, bone and joint pain, headache,
- swelling and congestion of the nasal mucosa,
- excessive mucous discharge from the nose, sneezing.
1 sachet contains:
- active substances: paracetamol 650 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg, pheniramine maleate 20 mg,
- excipients: sucrose, acesulfame potassium (E 950), quinoline yellow (E 104), sunset yellow (E 110), maltodextrin M100 (contains glucose), colloidal hydrated silica, natural lemon flavours Flavour Lemon Durarome 860098 TD1091 (contains sodium, soybean oil, sucrose, maltodextrin - contains glucose) and "Flavour Lemon Durarome 860202 TD 0991 (contains sodium, soybean oil, sucrose, maltodextrin - contains glucose), citric acid anhydrous, sodium citrate dihydrate, calcium phosphate.
Analgesic, antipyretic, antihistamine.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Take the product according to the established dosing schedule.
Theraflu ExtraGrip Dosage- Adults and adolescents over 12 years: dissolve the contents of one sachet in 1 glass of hot, but not boiling, water. Drink after cooling to the appropriate temperature.
- The contents of 1 sachet can be taken at a time. If further symptomatic treatment is necessary, this dose can be repeated after 4-6 hours. Do not use more than 3-4 sachets in 24 hours. Contact your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days or if fever persists for more than 3 days.
- Patients with liver disease: the daily effective dose of paracetamol should not exceed 60 mg/kg/day (up to 2 g/day, i.e. a maximum of 3 sachets per day) in adults weighing less than 50 kg, people with mild or moderate liver failure, Gilbert's syndrome (familial hyperbilirubinemia), dehydrated, chronically malnourished people, people with alcoholism.
- Patients with renal failure: the content of one sachet should be taken at one time. The intervals between doses should be:
- 4 hours when creatinine clearance (ml/min) is 80-50,
- 6 hours when creatinine clearance (ml/min) is 50-30,
- 6 hours when creatinine clearance (ml/min) is 30-10,
- 8 hours when creatinine clearance (ml/min) < 10.
