Too Many Bones Polaris

Too Many Bones Polaris Description

• Difficulty: Medium-heavy to Heavy
• Mechanics: Dice-building, Tactical Combat, Character Progression, Solo/Cooperative Campaign

Too Many Bones: Polaris transplants the franchise's signature dice-and-chip system into a tense, cooperative campaign of survival and escalation. Players each take on a Gear (a unique character) with distinct dice pools, skill trees, and equipment chips, developing builds over linked encounters as threats grow and choices carry weight between scenarios. Combat is highly tactical and deterministic - players roll specialized dice and spend results to activate abilities, manage resources, and outmaneuver foes across varied battle setups.

The game emphasizes meaningful decisions, risk management, and synergy between Gears. Expect long sessions with steep learning but deep reward: character optimization, emergent combos, and dramatic, hard-fought victories. Polaris is aimed at groups who enjoy crunchy rules, long-form campaigns, cooperative strategy, and intense table presence.
