How to Choose a Suitable Resistor
When the operating temperature changes, the required resistance will also be different, so the appropriate resistor should be selected according to the operating temperature. It is recommended to start with an 82 ohm resistor initially, and one week monitoring.
Result 1: The ECO light is always or most of the time off - it is reliable and doesn't need to be changed.
Result 2: ECO lights still light up frequently under normal driving conditions - choose higher resistance.
Result 3: CEL comes on and does not go away after one week - choose lower resistance.
