Summary
- Important Note: Germicidal Lamps emit UV-C radiation at 253.7nm that is dangerous to the human eye and skin. These lamps should NOT be used for general illumination and only used in a sealed filter unit or cannister
- Manufactured using High Performance Quartz not Glass as found with standard UVC lamps. 9000 hours average rated life
- For sterilisation purposes the lamp should be replaced every 6 months. For clarification of ponds replace lamp every 6-12 months. When changing UVC lamp we recommend you clean the quartz sleeve

UVBrite® 30W T8 UVC Lamps are designed specifically for use with pond UVC filters, filtration systems, water clarification units and air & surface sterilisation equipment. When used for aquarium and pond water clarification, the UVC rays destroy suspended algae (green water) giving you crystal clear water. Proven technology for the destruction of air-borne bacteria, viruses and mould spores. Improved system efficiency when installed in HVAir Conditioning (HVAC) units by reducing bacterial and mould growth.
The UVC wavelength of 253.7nm will inactivate bacteria, viruses, mould and cysts by preventing DNA replication.
