Within the bucket there is a special rotating scrubbing roller which rinses and cleans dirt from the mop pad when it's spinning, so you can always mop with a clean pad.
The slow spinning movement of the handle lets you rinse the mop and decide how much water you want to soak up.
The motion in combination with the roller will free the mop pad of any kind of dirt while being rinsed. The roller even gets rid of hair stuck on the pad.
