ACTION

Visine Comfort contains the active substance tetryzoline hydrochloride, which is used in ophthalmology to reduce congestion.

HOW TO USE

Adults and children over 6 years of age: the dose is 1-2 drops in the affected eye (s) 2-3 times a day. The medicinal product should be used for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms. Adult supervision is recommended for children under 12 years of age. Children over 2 years of age to under 6 years of age: use only after consulting a healthcare professional. The recommended dose is 1 drop in the affected eye (s) 2 to 3 times a day. The medicinal product is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.

After opening the cap, the bottle should be turned upside down and then gently squeeze to measure 1 or 2 drops from the tip of the dropper into the eye, without touching the eye. To avoid contamination of the solution, the tip of the bottle should not be in contact with anything other than the cap.

IMPORTANT

Do not use this medication:

if you are allergic to tetryzoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine

if you have narrow-angle glaucoma

in children under 2 years of age

COMPOSITION

VISINE COMFORT 1 ml of eye drops, solution contains 0.5 mg of tetryzoline hydrochloride (i.e. 21 micrograms (μg) per drop) and auxiliary substances, including 0.18 mg of phosphate (i.e. 7.5 μg / drop) .
