Vitax Slug Gone Wool Pellets Snail Barrier 3.5L Description

Vitax Slug Gone Wool Pellets Natural Slug Snail Barrier Garden Protection 3.5L

Product description

Vitax Slug Gone Wool Pellets provide a natural way to deter slugs and snails around plants. Made from British wool, the pellets swell when watered and form a self felting mat that creates an irritating barrier while helping retain moisture and release naturally occurring nutrients. Use around flower beds, container pots and hanging baskets, with careful application to maintain an unbroken barrier. Keep access restricted where pets may try to eat the pellets. Packaging May Vary

Key benefits

• Natural wool pellet barrier helps deter slugs and snails from reaching plants.

• British wool forms a self felting mat when wetted around the plant.

• Helps retain moisture around the growing area and supports soil moisture management.

• Contains naturally occurring slow release nutrients including nitrogen, potassium and sulphur.

• Biodegradable mulch material that gradually breaks down in the soil.

• Suitable for flower beds, container pots and hanging baskets.

Ideal for

• Flower beds and planted borders

• Container pots and planters

• Hanging baskets

• Gardens where slugs and snails are a concern

• Organic gardening applications

How to use

• Lay the pellets on the growing media around the stems of the plant.

• Apply as an approximately 10cm band around the plant and ensure there are no gaps.

• Water the pellets so the wool fibres swell and bond to form a protective mat.

• Keep leaves or stems from overhanging the protected pot perimeter to help prevent access points.

Direction

• For best results, maintain a continuous barrier around the plant.

• Avoid leaving gaps where slugs or snails could pass through.

• Do not position protected plants beside unprotected containers or walls where slugs may enter from another route.

Warnings

• Keep the barrier complete and free from gaps for effective protection.

• Some pets may be attracted to the natural wool pellets; discourage eating and restrict access where necessary.

• Always read the product label and information before use and follow the stated directions.
