Voltage Regulator for Brushless Alternator R230 Description
The R230 AVR is an automatic voltage regulator for brushless alternators with a 120 VAC (90-140 VAC) single-phase input. It delivers up to 100 VDC field output and 8A continuous current. This regulator works by monitoring exciter current to control alternator voltage. It is made with flame retardant and heat resistant materials for safety. Note: the shunt-excited design cannot sustain short circuits. Supplied with one AVR.
