W. E. Hill & Sons Peg Paste Original Formula for Violin, Viola & Cello Pegs THE ORIGINAL PEG PASTE: A legendary product from W. E. Hill & Sons, the trusted choice of professional luthiers and string players for decades. The industry-standard solution for sticking or slipping pegs. SMOOTH TUNING ACTION: Our specially formulated compound provides the perfect balance of lubrication and friction. It eliminates squeaking and sticking, allowing your pegs to turn smoothly and effortlessly for precise tuning. PREVENTS SLIPPING: Beyond just lubrication, the unique formula ensures a firm grip on the pegbox, preventing pegs from slipping back and causing your instrument to go out of tune. VERSATILE & EFFECTIVE: Suitable for all bowed string instruments, including violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. It works effectively in all climates, ensuring reliable performance wherever you play. PLASTIC-FREE AND EASY TO APPLY: The traditional presentation consists of an easily recyclable aluminium tube with the peg paste wrapped in protective foil paper which can be unwrapped the required amount and then re-wrapped once more. This replaces a non-recyclable lipstick-style plastic tube used in previous years.
