Weed Barrier Landscape Fabric 3ft x 66ft Black Polypropylene UVBlocking Weed Control for Garden Description

Weed Prevention Sheet - 3ft x 66ft (1m x 20m), black, polypropylene Overview This density woven weed prevention sheet blocks sunlight to suppress weed growth, reducing time and labor spent on weeding and maintenance. Permeable to water and of herbicides or other chemicals, it is safe for use in soil and surrounding planting areas. The sheet is durable enough for light foot traffic and temporary walkways. Key benefits Effective light barrier: Precisely woven fabric limits sunlight reaching weed seeds and shoots, helping reduce weed emergence. Chemical: Contains no herbicides or chemical additives; does not actively kill weeds but prevents growth by shading. Permeable to water: Allows rainwater and irrigation to soak into the soil after installation. Durable and walkable: density polypropylene construction resists wear and can be used in walkways or where lightweight flooring is needed. Long service life: Typical usable life is about 4 to 6 years under normal conditions in the Japanese climate; actual durability depends on site conditions. Specifications Size: 3ft x 66ft (1m x 20m) Color: Black Material: Polypropylene Features: durability, density, good water permeability, suitable for walking Practical applications Garden beds and vegetable plots: Lay between rows or around beds to cut down on hand weeding and reduce maintenance time. Walkways and farm paths: Use as a lowcost, walkable ground cover for access routes and temporary paths. Landscaping under mulch or decorative gravel: Place under mulch or gravel to limit weed growth while allowing water infiltration. Note that weeds can still emerge if gravel is placed directly on. Important usage notes This sheet suppresses weeds by blocking light and does not contain chemicals that actively kill roots. For existing perennial weeds, apply an appropriate rootkilling treatment before laying the sheet. Not suitable as a base for compaction or for burying underground. Some aggressive or rhizomatous plants, such as pampas grass, horsetail, bamboo grass, and bindweed, may penetrate the fabric. If gravel or loose materials are placed on, weeds may still grow through or around the cover. density weave may delay initial water permeability; allow time after installation for full drainage performance. Do not use near open flames or other sources of fire. Performance reminder Effectiveness and service life depend on usage conditions, soil type, sunlight, and climate. The sheet can significantly reduce weed growth and maintenance but may not completely prevent all weeds in every situation.
