It is definitely NOT an automatic lid lifting system, it did NOT fit my door after spending ages fitting it with only a pictorial set of instructions to go by, the plastic its made from is extremely flimsy, the box it arrived in was so badly damaged I had to throw it away, I cannot find anywhere on the site how to return it, I am very disappointed with it.
