Turn the lighter upside down. Insert the canister mouth firmly into the lighter refill valve. 3. Press down hard and hold to transfer fuel. Make sure the connection is tight while filling. 4. After filling, shake the lighter up and down 4 to 6 times to disperse the fuel evenly. Shake each time after refilling. Refill tips Turn the pressure valve to the smallest position before refilling.
