Wireless Floor+ Alertamat - Fall Prevention Sensor Mat

Summary

• A robust long-life sensor mat that sounds an alarm to the nurse or care giver when a patient has stepped onto the mat when getting out of bed or leaving their room. A discreet and versatile fall prevention aid, for those at risk of falls or suffer with dementia.
• These Alertamats are most effective when placed at the bedside or doorways. The alarm is activated when the user leaves their 'safe zone' by stepping onto the mat. The alarm alerts the care giver to ascertain the user's safety and where abouts. The light colour of this mat makes it an ideal solution for situations when a dementia user may try to avoid the mat.
• Wireless Floor+ Alertamats can be connected to a nurse call system through the Alerta wall point receiver (sold separately) for centralised action, or can be used on its own, independent of a nurse call system to give a localised alerts through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver only.
• The volume can be deactivated for silent in-room operation when connected to a nurse call system, ideal to use in situations such as, if the room is being cleaned or if the caregiver is providing care to the patient.
• System includes: 1x Floor+ Alertamat and 1 x Wireless Transmitter (MUST be used with Alerta Wall Point Receiver)
