Due to combined issues with my turbo, intercooler and egr I ended up with a very clogged DPF and a non running engine, meaning fuel or air intake additives were not an option. As it had to come off anyway I thought I'd give this soaking option a go before taking it on for an expensive 'professional' clean. It worked brilliantly! The intercooler was also very oily internally, so I filtered the 'used' liquid from the DPF and soaked that too. The result is squeaky clean, unblocked components and a happily running engine. Many thanks!
