Have you ever taken a shower in an enclosed bathroom without an extractor fan? It's not a pleasant experience, is it? The room quickly fogs up, you can struggle to see, and it's unpleasant to breathe in that thick, moist air. Not only is showering in a fan-less room an unpleasant experience, all that humidity makes your bathroom a breeding ground for mould - gross! Thankful, Xpelair and their engineers have created the C4TS Simply Silent Fan, an extractor fan that's as potent as it is small! 

The Xpelair C4TS Simply Silent Fan is quite spooky, because it uses patented Ghost Air Movement Technology! In other words, this Xpelair fan uses a combination of long-life silent running motors that reduce mechanical noise and advanced airflow management to minimise irregular turbulence within the machine while still delivering high quality extraction action!

You can install this Xpelair fan yourself and in the process adjust three settings. The first is power, and the Xpelair C4TS has two options: low is quiet in your bathroom, all but inaudible outside the room and can extract 15 litres of air per hour. The high power is a little more noisy, but is still far from deafening, and this option can remove up to 21 litres of air from your bathroom in an hour.

The second and third options control how long the Simply Silent Fan is active for, and when it turns on. The fan's sensor is constantly measuring the amount of humidity in your bathroom, and once the set amount of humidity is reached, it'll switch on automatically and get to work. You can adjust this humidity limit between 50% and 95% relative humidity. Once the Xpelair C4TS has finished expelling the water vapour from your bathroom, it will keep spinning its blades for an amount of time that you set, between 30 seconds and 30 minutes. Set it to the lowest setting for energy efficiency, or the highest to ensure that not a droplet of moisture remains!

You don't just have to use it in your bathroom, but any room in your house that requires a good dehumidifying. With hot boiling water from kettles and saucepans your kitchen can get thick with water vapour. An extractor fan will make your cookery room more bearable. Or if you're drying clothes or storing wet coats in a cloakroom, the Xpelair C4TS will ensure that mould doesn't begin to grow in dark, humid spots.
