Agent Provocateur perfume: the signature scents
The most famous Agent Provocateur perfume for women is their self-titled Agent Provocateur eau de parfum. This fragrance was formulated in 2000 by Christian Provenzano, a veteran perfumer who's worked with luxury brands including Kilian. It's a seductive and complex perfume fit to represent the brand.
Its strongest aroma is perfectly replicated Moroccan rose which creates a powdery floral accord with jasmine, magnolia and gardenia. This is contrasted against a sensual and woody base made from cedar wood, amber and musk. It's a unique and unforgettable scent that remains popular over twenty years after its release Agent Provocateur Perfume 200ml bottles are still among the brand's biggest sellers.
The other Agent Provocateur fragrances at the top of most wanted lists is the Fatale range. The original is an amber floral EDP with a bouquet of sweet fruity notes. Blackcurrant and juicy mango make up the opening, with an added dash of pink pepper that highlights the beginnings of mossy and earthy aromas from patchouli and orris root in the middle. Another lesser known fragrance that's bound to impress is Agent Provocateur Perfume Maitresse. This is another floral perfume from Christian Provenzano. This time, white lotus petals and ylang ylang create a distinctly powdery scent, with a very fresh, almost ozonic scent from violet leaves in the background. This refreshing airiness is carried throughout the perfume's development thanks to the effervescent power of aldehydes, used to boost the other ingredients.
