A single spritz of Chanel No 5 is a transformational experience. The opening is dominated by those famous aldehydes - a sharp clean smell bringing to mind fresh laundry and pure arctic frost. Other top notes for classic Chanel perfume for women include Mediterranean citrus fruit like bergamot and peach. There's also the beginning of the floral middle with the sweet and sour scent of ylang-ylang.
