(11 inch back & sides set) Fire Brick Sets Side & Back Bricks Coal Saver Description
- A fire brick, is a block of ceramic material used in lining furnaces, kilns, fireboxes, and fireplaces
- Our firebricks reduce the consumption of fossil fuels. By lining the inside of the grate with firebricks, less fuel is used and the heat is reflected back: this reduces heat loss
- Coalsaver bricks are the ideal solution for reducing the size of the firebed, conserving fuel
- Available in sets of 3 (2 side bricks & a back brick), and the side bricks and back bricks are available seperately (see drop down menu above)
- Universal side and back bricks fit most grates, wood burners. The range of sizes fit from 14 inch to 20 inch fireplace openings: please check the size before ordering
Side Bricks
These are 170mm (6.7in) overall front to back, but the rear edge is chamfered on both sides so the exposed inside face is only 155mmm (6in). The side brick thickness is 36mm (1.5 in) and is chamfered on all edges EXCEPT the base.
