Control vine weevils naturally by applying Nemasys® Vine Weevil Killer. Left untreated, vine weevil grubs will feed on your plant roots causing permanent damage and even death and will affect plants BOTH under-glass and in the garden. Nemasys® Vine Weevil Killer contains nematodes found naturally in UK soil and has been approved for use in organic gardening by the Soil Association. Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer needs a soil temperature of 5c, so apply UNDERGLASS all year round or apply OUTDOORS when grubs are discovered or apply as a preventative measure when the grubs are at their most destructive i.e. in the spring and autumn.

Nemasys® Vine Weevil Killer contains the natural nematode, Steinernema Kraussei, which is effective at controlling vine weevil grubs, but is totally safe for children, pets and wildlife and can be used on edible crops. It comes as a powder, which is simply mixed with water and apply like a liquid feed to the soil around the roots using a watering can or hose-end feeder. Nemasys® Vine Weevil Killer is a perishable, living product, so it is sent out fresh by Royal Mail 1st class post and must be used before the expiry date (which is marked on the inside of the pack and will be at least 2 weeks) and it must be stored in the fridge until it is needed.
