(5L) Growth Technology - Liquid Oxygen Description

Liquid Oxygen from Growth Technology is a cleansing and oxygenating agent for hydroponic systems. It contains hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) at a low enough concentration that can be sold to the general public. H2O2 is an unstable molecule; it is basically a water molecule with an extra oxygen atom. Oxygen molecules usually go around in pairs (O2) which you've probably heard of. A single atom, however, is highly reactive and when you add Liquid Oxygen you your nutrients, this oxygen atom escapes. Once it is free, it is free to attach itself to another organic molecule which changes its nature completely.

This oxidization is the key to how it kills pathogens and other nasties in you water. In the same way as ozone kills airborne smells, the free molecule will render bacteria and viruses harmless. The rest of the Liquid Oxygen just becomes water in the tank making it a clean way of sterilizing your tank.  The release of oxygen into the water will also help stimulate the plants via the roots. Photosynthesis and protein production increase and the plant will become a healthier specimen as a result.
