The hanger is specially good for electric motorized projection screen. It makes some distance to wall, which give a better experience. It holds the motor and make the noise down and down.
TIPS: Usually, if the wall is flat, no need the hanger. However, if there's black board or other decorative things suffocating the projection screen, a hanger is needed.
