Product DescriptionA collapsible towing bar suitable for recovery and breakdowns. Lowers the risk of the recovered car ramming the tow car and keeps recovery legal (tow ropes are no longer legal on the road in the UK and Europe). Spring damper for smoother braking and to lower the strain on vehicle towing eyes. Locking hook design ensures fast, simple and safe assembly. Bar breaks down into three sections to easily fit into virtually any cars boot. Supplied complete with storage bag. This rigid steel tow bar with damper spring is ideal for towing cars and light vans up to 2000kg (approx. 2 tons) in weight. It is much safer than a traditional tow rope as it prevents the vehicle that is being towed running into the one in front. The damper spring also helps to prevent jerking while accelerating. It can be twisted through 90Â to fit towing eyes at different angles. The tow bar comes in three sections with it's own carry bag so that it can easily be stored in the boot of your car.
