Advanced Nutrients Sensizym 4L

Advanced Nutrients Sensizym 4L Description

Sensizym is an enzyme treatment for the root zone that helps keep everything clean and healthy. It works by breaking down dead plant matter and converting it into nutrients that the plant can then use. Not only does this eliminate organic matter that pathogens thrive on, but it also gives a little extra nutrition for the plant. When plants grow outdoors, their roots are bathed in a huge ecosystem of beneficial micro organisms that manufacture these enzymes and so the roots naturally stay healthy. This can be an issue in a grow room as these organisms are not present, especially in inert media such as rockwool and coco coir.

WHAT IS IN SENSIZYM?

Advanced Nutrients research has come up with the very best enzyme types to get the job done. These are chitinases, proteases, hydrolases, glucanases and cellulases. The combination of which makes up Sensizym – one of the most effective root zone enzyme treatments you can buy. They have come up with the perfect recipe of enzymes at the perfect ratio for use with plants. It also has a good long shelf life too, so there is no rush to burn through it!

An added benefit of Sensizym is that as it breaks down dead plant matter it produces some sugars. This is an invaluable source of food for microbes in the media. It fuels their growth and promoting lots more benefits for the roots. Sensizym is also great for treating media that you want to re-use. After harvest, pull the plant up and as much root matter as you can, then run through with Sensizym for a few days to a week. If you have had issues with disease, however, we always suggest it would be better to buy new media; just for peace of mind!
