If you lose sight of something, you can play the built-in speaker or ask Siri for help by saying, for example, "Hey Siri, find me my gym bag." And on newer iPhones, the "Precise Location" feature guides you to the exact location of the AirTag*.

And if the object you are looking for is far away, your AirTag can still be located thanks to the hundreds of millions of Apple devices connected to the Where's network. All in anonymous and encrypted form, in full respect of privacy.

COMPATIBLE DEVICES:

iPhone SE, iPhone 6s and later, iPod touch (7th generation), running iOS 14.5 or later; iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation and later), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, with iPadOS 14.5 or later.

**Testing conducted by Apple in March 2021 using preproduction AirTags and software paired with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max with preproduction software -production. Battery life is calculated based on daily use with four "Play" prompts and one "Find location" prompt per day. Battery life depends on usage, environmental conditions, characteristics of the replacement battery, and many other factors; actual results may vary.

***AirTag is splash, water and dust resistant; has been laboratory tested under controlled conditions, with a rating of IP67 (maximum depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes) according to IEC standard 60529. Resistance to splashes, water and dust is not a permanent characteristic and may decrease with normal wear. Consult the safety and usage documentation to clean and dry it.
