Azul - Asmodee - Board game Description
Introduced by the Moors, azulejos (earthenware wall covering tiles, originally decorated with blue or polychrome) were adopted by the Portuguese when their king Manuel I, during a visit to the Alhambra palace in the south of Spain, was conquered by the dazzling beauty of the decorative tiles. Manuel I ordered the immediate decoration, with similar tiles, of the walls of his palace.
