Summary
- Triple Filtration Function: Vortex brushes trap large particles, capture fine debris with static charge, and support biological filtration by housing beneficial nitrifying bacteria.
- Improved Water Clarity: By catching lightweight waste that vortex chambers miss, these brushes ensure cleaner water and reduce the amount of dirt passing into subsequent filter chambers.
- Customizable Installation: Vortex brushes can be strategically placed around transfer ports, coiled around outlets, or used as a complete barrier, making them versatile for various filter setups.
- Low Maintenance: Easy to clean either in-situ or by removing them for rinsing, ensuring that the filter system stays efficient with minimal effort.
- Supports Biological Filtration: Over time, the large surface area of the brushes becomes a home for beneficial bacteria, contributing to the biological breakdown of waste and promoting a healthier pond ecosystem.
BLACK KNIGHT VORTEX FILTER BRUSH x1 GENUINE KOI FISH POND MULTI CHAMBER BRUSHES Description
Vortex chambers are effective at settling out heavy waste, but they tend to struggle with capturing lightweight particles. If you've noticed that while your vortex collects a lot of waste at the bottom, the subsequent chambers still get dirty, this is because very fine particles are drawn through the transfer port into the next chamber without having time to settle. Vortex brushes help trap these fine particles, improving the overall filtration efficiency.
