I am extremely pleased with this product, which I found some difficulty to find from other retailers. The service I received from OnBuy.com, via eBay, was second to none.

3D print battery housing with embedded MN154 type battery fits OK in the late Avo 8 MkV 15v battery pocket.Obviously a much lower capacity, but OK for the application. Battery length seemed a little short so not much tension on the spring contacts - probably due to using an OTS battery in the housing - but could just be my contacts. I did not see any polarity markings so had to check this with another meter to mark-up & ensure correct orientation when fitting. This should be clearly marked to prevent possible damage to your Avometer. Price OK but 3D prjnt quality quite rough and no polarity markings let the product down a bit but don't affect performance so long as you check before fitting

Happy with the battery. Was fairly fast delivery however royalmail was a bit slapdash in delivering it when it should

Could not find a compatible battery for my aged Avo meter anywhere until I discovered On Buy.com. They solved my problem.
Good service & decent price. Be careful though, the polarity on the plastic housing are the wrong way round. No probs, just swap unit round. Drop one star the that SMALL error.
