Bonda Seal Clear 250ml Description

Bonda Seal Clear is a high gloss sealer for use on wood, metal and brick. It is formulated from high performance resins to provide a non-porous sealer with outstanding non-yellowing properties and gloss retention. The coating is tough but yet flexible and has excellent adhesion to many materials. It is resistant to oils, fuels and a range of aggressive chemicals at low concentrations.

Usage Instructions:

Surface Preperation: The surface should be dry to enable maximum penetration.  

Application: Brush apply in thin coats. Unless sanding between coats, apply each coat while the previous coat in finger tacky, normally 30-90 minutes. if left to harden sand surface in between coats.  

For Wood: Dense, Oily or closely grained woods do not allow deep penetration and should be well sanded. for smooth surfaces sand in between coats.  

Wood, Cork and Lino Floors:  New floors can be protected and old floors given a new look, it is important that the floor has stabilised before application. The first coat should be thinned and all traces of wax removed.  

Sealing Brick - Concrete: Loose cement, plaster, flaking brick or old paint should be removed. It is not recommended for dense surfaces such as quarry tiles. For damp coating 3 coats are normally required. 

Hardening Times:  The coating hardens to a tack free surface within 4 hours and can be handled and walked n after 6 hours. Full Mechanical hardness is 24 hours and chemical resistance is 72 hours
