BondIt 10kg Self Levelling Compound Levelmaster Floor Cement Concrete Description

Description: A one part, cementitious, chloride/protein‐free, levelling compound. When mixed with water it provides a smooth, level base for most common internal floor types such as concrete and sand/cement screed. Conforms to EN 13813 CT‐C16‐F4. Benefits: u Self‐smoothing. u Accepts foot traffic after 3‐4 hours depending on temperature and humidity. u Preblended, requiring only the addition of water. u Single pack and easy to use. u Can be applied up 6mm thickness. Uses LevelMaster STANDARD is an ideal underlay for levelling most common internal subfloors prior to the installation of floor coverings. Note: Not suitable for use with under floor heating installations or areas subject to limited movement / vibration, unless used in conjunction with LevelMaster LATEX LIQUID. Alternatively, LevelMaster AD-FLOOR or LevelMaster AD-FLOOR PLUS should be used. This product is not designed as a final wearing course to receive traffic and must be covered with either tiles, lino, vinyl, carpet, etc. Preparation Surfaces must be clean, dry, structurally sound and free from grease, oil, paint, polish or any other contaminate that may hinder adhesion. Porous surfaces should be dampened down (without pooling or standing water). Very absorbent surfaces should be primed with a waterproof primer such as Bond It PRIMER & FLEXIBLE ADMIX or SBR. Wooden floors should be overboarded with 15mm exterior grade plywood rigidly fixed with screws at 300mm centres. The plywood should be primed as for very porous surfaces.Anhydrite/calcium sulphate screeds should be sanded and vacuumed before priming with 2 coats of Bond It PRIMER AND FLEXIBLE ADMIXTURE and left to dry for 24 hours prior to application. Note: PVA is not suitable for priming surfaces prior to application of Level Master STANDARD. Mixing Use 3.6L of clean water for every 10Kg bag of Level Master STANDARD. Slowly add the powder to the water while stirring with a suitable slow speed drill or paddle. When using LATEX LIQUID refer to dosage on bottle. Application Pour the mix onto the subfloor within 10 minutes of mixing to a maximum thickness of 6mm. Use a flooring trowel or float to promote a smooth surface. This product can be built up to 10 - 12mm in thin layers, ensuring that the previous layer has fully hardened / cured. Allow adequate ventilation during curing. Level Master STANDARD will accept light foot traffic after 4 hours; however, floor coverings should not be laid for 24 hours (longer when used in conjunction with LATEX LIQUID). Cleaning All tools and equipment should be cleaned in water. Cured material can only be removed by mechanical means. Limitations Do not use at temperatures below 5o C or above 30oC. High temperatures will reduce the open time. Cold or humid conditions will slow the drying times. Level Master STANDARD does not provide a final wearing surface and must be covered with a floorcovering (ceramic tiles, wood flooring or carpet). Not suitable for use in conjunction with underfloor heating systems. Do not mix more material than can be used in 10 minutes. Coverage Depends upon the condition of the subfloor surface, however, a 10Kg bag will cover approximately 3.6m2 at a depth of 3mm. Storage Conditions This product must be stored in unopened manufacturers bags away from extremes of temperature and in dry conditions. This product must be used within 12 months of manufacture and before the use by date shown on this bag. Disposal of Containers Do not leave empty containers where residue could be harmful to children, animals or the environment. Remove any containers to a central disposal point in accordance with local regulations.
