Chord C-USB Digital Cable 3.0m Description
The Chord C-USB digital cable is a high end USB cable that has silver plated conductors and can be used with any audio equipment with a USB input. It has a USB-A to USB-B connection and inside has a low loss, gas foamed polyethylene insulation. The silver used in the conductors is heavy gauge, oxygen free and the plugs and signal pins are gold plated. It features a twisted pair data conductor configuration with dual layer, high frequency effective shielding.
When installing this cable there are a few things you need to do to get the best out of it. First you need to turn off all equipment before removing old cables and fitting new ones. Then you need to connect the cable so the print on the cable reads away from the source component and the C of chord should be in the side closest to the plug. (While doing all these steps you should be avoiding touching the contact areas of the plug) Also try to route the cable away from and power cables or speaker cables.
