Product description

Vitax Copper Mixture is a trace element fertiliser formulated to support fruit and edible crops where copper manganese and zinc deficiencies are recognised. It contains 2.8% copper 3.0% manganese and 2.1% zinc and can be mixed with water for use as a leaf spray. Suitable crops include potatoes beans peas beetroot brassicas carrots celery fruit and onions. Apply during active growth and avoid extreme temperatures or bright sunlight. Use only where there is a recognised need and follow the stated application rates.

How to use

• Pre mix the product with a small quantity of water in a suitable container

• Mix thoroughly then make up to the final volume while stirring continuously

• Apply immediately as a spray ensuring foliage is evenly wetted without drenching

• Use 30g in 1.5 litres of water for small areas; one pack makes 9 litres

• Wash the sprayer after use and do not allow diluted material to stand

Direction

• Spray during active growth when there is good leaf coverage

• For best results apply in the early morning or evening

• For severe deficiency repeat at three week intervals as necessary

• Use only where needed and do not exceed 3 applications or 12kg per hectare per season

• Do not apply in extreme temperatures very bright sunlight or drought conditions

• May cause damage to some fruit varieties so test a small number of plants before wider application

• Wash hands and exposed skin after handling and do not breathe dust
