Summary
- The D600 is a monaural digital amplifier designed without regard for cost, striving to achieve a level of exceptional sound quality.
- Utilizing the TPA3255 digital amplifier chip, it delivers an output power of up to 600 watts with extremely low distortion-making it a remarkably powerful choice for driving subwoofers.
- The D600 features an integrated chassis-as-heatsink design; through clever engineering, the entire aluminum alloy casing serves to dissipate heat from the TPA3255 amplifier chip. This not only reduces the overall footprint of the unit-making it remarkably compact and sleek-but also enhances thermal efficiency, ensuring more stable operation.
- To further elevate sound quality, the main filtering stage utilizes high-capacity Nichicon capacitors, delivering a warm sonic signature with rich, substantial mids that sound natural and engaging, alongside excellent high-frequency extension.
- The unit features a socketed operational amplifier (Op-Amp) design. While the D600 comes standard with the high-performance 5532-which delivers excellent results-users are free to swap it out for a higher-grade Op-Amp to suit their specific audio preferences.
