Dual CS 418 Manual Turntable Black

Dual CS 418 Manual Turntable Black Description

Emphasis on high component precision is a feature of the entire range of Dual products. This is the case for the entry model CS 418, which uses the same platform as the higher models in the product range. The Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet cartridge and a switchable MM-phono preamplifier are an integral part of this ready to run package.

The CS 418 is not attractive just because it is excellent value for money, but it also offers a superb and compelling balanced sound experience with robust construction.

A solid folded MDF plinth reduces vibrations, along with elastomer vibration absorber integrated inside the feet, minimising unwanted resonances for a clearer, more focused performance. The CS 418 turntable features a precise aluminium die-cast platter with a heavy rubber mat for resonance damping and a solid platter bearing with a hardened steel spindle in a brass bushing.

The tonearm is a straight, statically balanced design using a solid aluminium construction with ball-bearings. The damped tonearm lift allows for smooth operation and adjustable tracking force and antiskating let you match the settings for your cartridge.

A low vibration DC-Servo-Motor drives a precision cut belt for lower wow & flutter, resulting in stable speed playback for your vinyl.
