I bought this product as I was searching for old photos which were on CD’s. Since newer machines don’t carry CD/DVD players, I was pleased with the performance of this player. If you are looking for something to get you out of trouble, this will help.
Great purchase, works exactly as you would expect. Plug in and off you go, happy with this, would recommend to anyone wanting the same item.
No issues with the item for me at the present time.

This is a very good external DVD/CD player for the price. Wanted it for my laptop running Windows 10 of which didn't come with a built-in CD player. Instruction leaflet very basic but basically was just plug and go.
Only problem had was that upon plugging it in caused the touchpad pointer to be disabled. Had to then work out how to get it back and keep it working. But that said I believe it would have happened by plugging-in any USB device! (The mouse settings needed adjusting)
