Flavamed Max, raspberry flavor syrup for cough, 100ml Description
Mucolytic treatment in acute and chronic bronchial and lung diseases involving disorders of mucus production and transport.
Secretolytic and mucolytic (acts as an expectorant, diluting secretions).
The usual dose is:
– children aged 2-5. years: 1/4 measuring spoon (1.25 ml of syrup) 3 times a day;
– children aged 6-12. years: 1/2 measuring spoon (2.5 ml of syrup) 2-3 times a day;
– adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 1 measuring spoon (5 ml of syrup) 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, then 1 measuring spoon (5 ml of syrup) 2 times a day. In adults, if necessary, the dose can be increased to 2 measuring spoons (5 ml each) of syrup twice a day.
The medicine should be taken orally, after a meal, using the measuring cup provided. Do not use the medicine immediately before going to bed. Without consulting a doctor, the medicine should not be used for longer than 4-5 days.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the drug should only be used if specifically recommended by a doctor.
Use with caution in children under 12 years of age.
Use with caution in patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers, renal dysfunction and/or severe liver failure, bronchial asthma (the preparation intensifies cough and causes excessive expectoration), and impaired bronchial motility (possibility of mucus stasis).

Zazwyczaj stosowana dawka leku to:
– dzieci w wieku 2-5. lat: 1/4 łyżki miarowej (1,25ml syropu) 3 razy na dobę;
– dzieci w wieku 6-12. lat: 1/2 łyżki miarowej (2,5ml syropu) 2-3 razy na dobę;
– młodzież w wieku powyżej 12. lat i dorośli: 1 łyżka miarowa (5ml syropu) 3 razy na dobę przez pierwsze 2-3 dni, następnie 1 łyżka miarowa (5ml syropu) 2 razy na dobę. U osób dorosłych, jeżeli to konieczne, dawkę można zwiększyć do 2 łyżek miarowych (każda po 5ml) syropu 2 razy na dobę.
Lek należy przyjmować doustnie, po posiłku, za pomocą dołączonej miarki. Nie należy stosować leku bezpośrednio przed snem. Bez konsultacji z lekarzem, leku nie należy stosować dłużej niż 4-5 dni.
Nadwrażliwość na substancję czynną lub którąkolwiek substancję pomocniczą.
W czasie ciąży i karmienia piersią lek można stosować wyłącznie w przypadku wyraźnego zalecenia przez lekarza.
Ostrożnie stosować u dzieci w wieku poniżej 12. lat.
Ostrożnie stosować u pacjentów z chorobą wrzodową żołądka i dwunastnicy, zaburzeniami czynności nerek i/lub ciężką niewydolnością wątroby, astmą oskrzelową (preparat nasila kaszel i powoduje nadmierne odkrztuszanie), z zaburzoną motoryką oskrzelową (możliwość wystąpienia zastoju śluzu).
