Flegtac Cough expectorant syrup, 200 ml Description
Flegtac cough 200 ml is a transparent, colorless syrup with expectorant effect, suitable for children over 2 years of age and adults. Its active substance is bromhexine hydrochloride (Bromhexini hydrochloridum), which has an expectorant effect, liquefying secretions in the respiratory tract and facilitating their transport. The effect of Felgtac Cough syrup is easier expectoration and relief of cough. The product packaging is made of cardboard, and inside, in addition to a 200 ml bottle, there is also a patient leaflet and a measuring spoon with a scale (1.25 ml, 2.5 ml, 3.75 ml, 5 ml).
Flegtac Cough Syrup: the drug is used in adults and children over 2 years of age:
- in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with impaired expectoration and mucus removal.
The drug has an expectorant effect and liquefies secretions in the respiratory tract.
Always use Flegtac Cough medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Adults (including the elderly): 5 ml syrup, 3 times daily. At the beginning of treatment, it may be necessary to increase the dose to 10 ml syrup, 3 times daily.
- Children over 12 years of age: 5 ml of syrup, 3 times a day.
- Children from 6 to 12 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup, 3 times a day.
- Children from 2 to 6 years of age: 1.25 ml of syrup, 3 times a day.
Administer orally. Take at regular intervals, after meals. Do not take immediately before bedtime. If you take more than the recommended dose, consult a doctor immediately.
- Allergy (hypersensitivity) to bromhexine or other ingredients of the drug.
- Ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum.
- Congenital fructose intolerance.
- Do not give to children under 2 years of age.
Flegtac Cough syrup should be stored:
- in the original packaging to protect the syrup from sunlight,
- in a place out of sight and reach of children.
- This medicine, like all medicines, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- If you experience any side effects, including those not listed in the patient information leaflet provided in the package, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.
- If serious side effects occur, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a doctor or the Emergency Department at the nearest hospital, especially in the following cases:
- serious adverse reactions affecting the skin (including erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis),
- allergic reactions (including rash, swelling of the face, lips, tongue and/or throat which causes difficulty in breathing or swallowing)
Lek Flegtac kaszel 200 ml to przezroczysty, bezbarwny syrop o działaniu wykrztuśnym, odpowiedni dla dzieci powyżej 2. roku życia oraz osób dorosłych. Jego substancją czynną jest bromoheksyny chlorowodorek (Bromhexini hydrochloridum), mający działanie wykrztuśne, upłynniające wydzielinę w drogach oddechowych i ułatwiające jej transport. Efektem działania syropu Felgtac Kaszel jest ułatwione odkrztuszanie i złagodzenie kaszlu. Opakowanie produktu wykonane jest z kartonu, a w środku oprócz butelki o zawartości 200 ml znajduje się również ulotka dla pacjenta i łyżka miarowa z podziałką (1,25 ml, 2,5 ml, 3,75 ml, 5 ml).
Syrop Flegtac Kaszel: lek stosuje się u osób dorosłych i dzieci powyżej 2. roku życia:
- w ostrych i przewlekłych schorzeniach dróg oddechowych przebiegających z zaburzeniami odkrztuszania oraz usuwania śluzu.
Lek wykazuje działanie wykrztuśne i upłynniające wydzielinę w drogach oddechowych.
Flegtac Kaszel lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy skonsultować się z lekarzem lub farmaceutą.
- Dorośli (w tym w podeszłym wieku): 5 ml syropu, 3 razy na dobę. Na początku leczenia konieczne może być zwiększenie dawki do 10 ml syropu, 3 razy na dobę.
- Dzieci powyżej 12. roku życia: 5 ml syropu, 3 razy na dobę.
- Dzieci od 6. do 12. roku życia: 2,5 ml syropu, 3 razy na dobę.
- Dzieci od 2. do 6. roku życia: 1,25 ml syropu, 3 razy na dobę.
Podawać doustnie. Zażywać w równych odstępach czasu, po posiłkach. Nie przyjmować bezpośrednio przed snem. W przypadku przyjęcia większej niż zalecana dawki leku należy pilnie zgłosić się do lekarza.
- Uczulenie (nadwrażliwość) na bromoheksynę lub inne składniki leku.
- Choroba wrzodowa żołądka i dwunastnicy.
- Wrodzona nietolerancja fruktozy.
- Nie podawać dzieciom poniżej 2. roku życia.
Syrop Flegtac Kaszel należy przechowywać:
- w oryginalnym opakowaniu, w celu ochrony syropu przed działaniem światła słonecznego,
- w miejscu niewidocznym i niedostępnym dla dzieci.
- Lek ten, podobnie jak każdy inny lek, może powodować działania niepożądane, chociaż nie u każdego one wystąpią.
- W przypadku wystąpienia dowolnych objawów niepożądanych, w tym objawów niewymienionych w ulotce dla pacjenta dołączonej do opakowania, należy poinformować o nich lekarza lub farmaceutę.
- W przypadku wystąpienia ciężkich działań niepożądanych należy niezwłocznie przerwać przyjmowanie leku i pilnie skonsultować się z lekarzem lub Oddziałem Ratunkowym najbliższego szpitala, szczególnie w przypadkach:
- ciężkich działań niepożądanych, które dotyczą skóry (w tym: rumień wielopostaciowy, zespół Stevensa-Johnsona, toksyczna martwica naskórka, ostra uogólniona krostkowica),
- reakcji alergicznych (w tym: wysypka, obrzęk twarzy, warg, języka i/lub gardła, powodujący trudności w oddychaniu lub połykaniu),
