Our 10-year-old Cask Strength reflects our direction at The GlenAllachie," says Master Distiller Billy Walker. Batch 9 showcases a honeyed spirit's richness and complexity after maturing in the finest oak.
Billy used his 50 years of experience and passion for wood management to craft this batch. It's a blend of spirit from Pedro Ximnez and Oloroso Sherry casks, Rioja barriques, and medium charred/medium toasted American Virgin Oak barrels.
This mahogany malt has classic sherried notes of dark chocolate and dried fruits, along with sweet spices and red berries.
