JBL Sansibar River is a natural round-grain sand substrate designed for freshwater and marine aquariums, as well as terrariums. With a fine 0.8 mm grain size, it creates a stable and safe environment for fish, invertebrates, and plants without releasing harmful substances into the water.
The sand's smooth texture prevents damage to delicate barbels and mucous membranes, making it ideal for digging fish such as rays, kuhli loaches, and catfish. It also supports strong plant growth when layered over a nutrient base and is suitable for use with undergravel heating cables.
