• Macrogol 3350 — 13.125 g

• Sodium Chloride — 350.7 mg

• Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate (bicarbonate) — 178.5 mg

• Potassium Chloride — 46.6 mg

Also contains orange flavouring and a sweetener (acesulfame potassium).

 How It Works

Laxido is an osmotic laxative that works by increasing water content in the stools, softening them and making bowel movements easier to pass. The added electrolytes help maintain normal sodium, potassium and water balance while relieving constipation.

 Indications / Uses

For the relief of:

• Chronic constipation in adults, adolescents (12 yrs +), and the elderly.

• Faecal impaction (severe build-up of stools) under medical guidance.
  Not recommended for routine use in children under 12 unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Directions for Use

1. Mix: Empty the contents of one sachet into about 125 ml (¼ pint) of water and stir until dissolved.

2. Drink promptly (best within ~30 minutes).

3. Typical dose:

   • Constipation: 1 sachet 1–3 times daily, depending on response.

   • Faecal impaction: More intensive dosing (e.g., up to 8 sachets over a period) under medical supervision only.

Note: If dissolving multiple sachets together (e.g., for impaction), follow your healthcare provider's instructions.

Warnings & Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to any ingredients.

• Avoid if there's an intestinal blockage, severe inflammatory bowel disease (e.g., Crohn's, ulcerative colitis), or sudden abdominal pain with nausea/vomiting — unless advised by a doctor.
