I've already got this mouse for work and let my daughter borrow it, she loved it. So I bought her one for her birthday. It was delivered on time and she's really pleased with it.
The build quality and design of this mouse is excellent.
The mouse fills your hand nicely and puts your hand at a slight angle, which feels better for wrist health. The thumb rest is also a great feature, which can help to avoid strain. This mouse is on the heavier side - I found that there is less resistance using it on a hard surface than a mouse mat. You can also buy replacement skates online which are apparently superior to the stock ones.
The sensivity is great for desktop applications and the multitude of progammable buttons give a lot of flexibility dependant on your needs. The side scroller could be a game-changer in many programs, espcially multimedia. The adaptable free-scroll is useful for scrolling through large documents (programming, word editing). The gestural thumb button is really sleek and comfortable to use. The clicks and scrolls are relatively noisy for a mouse but not unpleasant - I feel that it adds to the sturdy/mechanical feel.
I've not yet tried it for gaming, but I wouldn't use it for anything competitive and especially not FPS games. The shape and weight of the mouse do not lend themselves well to short, sharp movements. Lifting it off of the mousemat surface for more real estate can be quite cumbersome too. It would be acceptable for casual RPG gaming.
I've had no issues using the USB wireless receiver yet, though I only have it 1 metre away. I'm yet to try the bluetooth connection. The only issue I've come across so far is that sometimes the sidescroller is unresponsive but I am yet to use it on multiple applications so cannot put it down to hardware yet.
Overall this is a 5/5 mouse for desktop/workflow use. The product is Chinese and is shipped from China. All that has meant from a consumer standpoint is that there is some Chinese and English writing on the packaging. I was willing to wait a little longer for delivery given the low price from this seller and overall I'm very pleased with the product. Thanks
