The Masterplug IP54 Weatherproof Electric Box - Water Resistant (Grey) is a rugged, IP54‑rated plastic enclosure designed to keep outdoor electrical connections safe from rain, dust and dirt. With multiple cable entry and exit options, you can route power cleanly to outdoor appliances while maintaining a compact, wall‑mountable housing.
Use it as a safe, convenient wall mounted power source for garden lighting, power tools, water features and Christmas decorations. It's intended to be used with a multi‑socket extension lead, and interior space is large enough to accommodate AC/DC adapters, transformers, plug‑in timers and other on/off controllers.
Inside, a self‑adhesive hook‑and‑loop strip is provided to fix a multi‑socket extension lead in place. Four internal mounting posts on the rear face can be used to mount a panel (not supplied) to suit other equipment.
The enclosure is IP54 rated in use, with the front cover securely closed providing a high level of protection against water and dust. It should not be used for permanent installation or underwater use.

I had outside power but needed some extension leads to get the lighting in the best position.
This is a simple piece of kit to allow you to protect the socket and the lighting transformer very cheaply and effectively
