• Cottage Garden Classic:Â A traditional and easy-to-grow perennial that often self-seeds, ensuring new plants appear for years to come.

Care & Usage Instructions:
Lychnis atrosanguinea thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained soil; it actually performs better in poor or moderately fertile ground rather than very rich soil. It is vital to avoid waterlogged conditions, especially during the winter. While it is a short-lived perennial, it will often self-seed freely around the garden. To encourage a longer flowering season, deadhead spent blooms regularly. In early spring, tidy up any dead foliage from the previous year to make way for the fresh, silver rosettes of new growth.
