DESCRIPTION:
No-Spa contains drotaverine hydrochloride as an active substance. This substance is used in the contraction of smooth muscles of both nervous and muscular origin. The antispasmodic effect of drotaverine does not depend on the type of innervation and the location of smooth muscles (digestive tract, urogenital system, circulatory system and biliary tract). The drug is metabolized in the liver, excreted mainly in the urine and to a lesser extent through the gastrointestinal tract.
ACTION:
Diastolic.
INDICATIONS:
- In smooth muscle spasms associated with biliary tract diseases: cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, pericystitis, inflammation of the bile ducts, inflammation of the ampulla of Vater;
- In cases of spasms of the smooth muscles of the urinary tract: kidney stones, ureteral stones, inflammation of the renal pelvis, cystitis, painful urge to urinate;
and supportingly:
- in spasms of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, enteritis, colitis, in spasms of the cardia and pylorus of the stomach, irritable bowel syndrome, spastic constipation and intestinal flatulence, pancreatitis;
- in gynecological diseases: painful menstruation.
DOSAGE:
Adults: Daily dose: 120 to 240 mg, in 2-3 divided doses.
Children: Clinical studies have not been conducted in children.
If it is necessary to use No-Spa in children:
- daily dose for children aged 6 to 12 years: 80 mg, in 2 divided doses
- daily dose for children over 12 years of age: 160 mg, in 2 - 4 divided doses.
COMPOSITION:
The active substance of the drug is drotaverine.
1 tablet contains 80 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone.

These tablets are doing really great job when I am getting some strange pains in my abdominal area in different places sometimes or the same place but my doctor was unable to find out what causes that and I let doctor know that only those tablets helping me, unfortunately they are unavailable on the drugs list anyway doctor had to google them just to understand better what I ment. They are simply antispasmodic working within the muscles area, mainly abdominal and also kidney stones pain relief, biliary ducts, urinary tract and gastrointestinal colicky pain, menstrual pain and imminent abortion.I’ve had this prescribed long time ago in my homeland therefore I know I go with this drug very well whenever needed. It’s great anti cramps medication and it’s good to get it here, thanks and I recommend it over Buscopan a 100 times more‼️
