PDO Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1L Round Tin

Summary

• Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means. Produced with polyphenol-rich Koroneiki olives. High in Monounsaturated fats
• The oil is extracted without heat or chemicals which ensures the flavour and health benefits remain.
• A full-bodied herbaceous flavour slowly builds in the mouth to leave a pleasant peppery aftertaste. Aromas reminiscent of citrus, fresh cut grass and tomatoes on the vine
• Olives are harvested with care by hand according to traditional methods and pressed within hours of being picked
• Kalamata refers to the area where the olives are grown, not the olive variety, which is a common misconception. Located in Peleponese, it provides an ideal micro-climate for the cultivation of olives
