Penderyn Myth Welsh Whisky, 40% ABV, 70cl

Penderyn Myth Welsh Whisky, 40% ABV, 70cl Description

Product Description Myth is a single malt whisky finished in a range of specially selected ex-bourbon and rejuvenated oak casks, bottled at 40 Percent ABV. Fresh and lively, Myth has mixed citrus fruits mingling with apple, pear drops and the merest hint of tropical fruits. Sweetness dominates then moves over to allow some refreshing bitterness to emerge while the mixed fruits continue to dominate the flavour. Gradually all the flavours ebb away to leave memories of a lively and light style of whisky that is easy to drink. Penderyn Distillery, located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, brings you the single malt whisky from its Dragon Range. The Penderyn Dragon whisky range was first introduced in 2015. All offering a stylish and sophisticated bottle and gift carton, with great award-winning whisky inside. The Red Dragon on the design references the national flag of Wales, Welshman Henry Tudor took the flag to Bosworth, where, in 1485, he became the last king of England to be crowned on the battlefield. This whisky is full of Welsh pride as well as its stunning flavour profile. Myth is brought to you by Penderyn. The rare Welsh distillery produces award-winning single malt whiskies and spirits at their distillery on the foothills of the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) National Park, Wales, UK. Distilling in Wales was a lost art, but in the late 1990s, in a Hirwaun pub in the Welsh valleys, a group of friends chatted about establishing the first whisky distillery in Wales in over a century. They dreamt of creating a whisky as pure and precious as Welsh gold, represented today by Penderyn's 'gold seam'. The village of Penderyn was chosen because of the site's own supply of fresh natural spring water, which is used alongside inspiration, hard work, attention to detail, the finest barley, expert female distillers and the best American oak bourbon casks, to craft and create our Penderyn's award winning Whiskeys.
