QED Reference Digital Audio 40 Lead 1.0m Description

Using factory controlled geometry and low permittivity foamed polyethylene, the Reference Digital audio 40 keeps the impedance to match the transmission signal between the digital source and the receiving unit precisely. This results in a very low jitter signal, leading to clear sonic improvements in the music.

The Reference Digital Audio 40 lead is fitted with impedance matched RCA plugs, to match the 75 Ohm transmission line. The new Digiloc RCA plugs are more closely matched and reduce insertion loss by up to 1.2dB.

With an oxygen free copper shield braid and aluminium mylar wrap, the Reference Digital Audio 40 coax uses a triple layer electromagnetic shield, to reduce interference signals to an absolute minimum creating a clearer signal transfer from the source.
