Realistic Hedgehog Figurine Toy by Animal Planet Description

Scientific name: Erinaceus europaeus. The hedgehog got its name from the pig-like grunt sound it makes when foraging in the hedges for worms and insects to eat. They each have around 5000 spines as a form of protection, when threatened they will roll into a ball with spines pointing outwards. They are generally friendly garden creatures that will hibernate during winter. They have excellent smell and hearing senses. Did you know that a baby hedgehog is called a hoglet?
