Rustins Stabilising Solution is a highly penetrative, water based stabiliser for binding and sealing powdery surfaces, lime wash and distemper prior to decoration. For interior and exterior use. 

Type: A water-based acrylic emulsion, which dries to a clear film. Intended Use: For binding and sealing powdery surfaces and lime wash and distemper in both interior and exterior situations prior to decoration. Special Features: Quick drying. Low odour. Clean brushes in water. Excellent sealing properties.

Size: 500ml 

Coverage: Approx. 12m² per litre, 1 coat, depending on the condition/absorbency of the surface.

Usage Instructions: 

Preparation: The surface to be treated must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as wax, grease and oil. Any loose or flaking material should be removed by scraping and followed by dry brushing. Any algae or mould growth should be first treated with Rustins Wood Protector prior to application of the primer. Application: Stir well before use. Apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush or roller. For very powdery or porous surfaces a second application may be required. Coats: One coat or two coats are usually sufficient.

Drying Time: Touch dry within 30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. Re-coating Time: Allow 4 hours before painting.. Application Temp: Ideally 15-25°C, do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity or if rain imminent.

Compatibility: All types of emulsion and masonry paints including Rustins Quick Dry Masonry Paint and Rustins All Surface All Purpose Paint. Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE. 

Shelf-life/Storage: Many years if stored in original, tightly closed container in normal conditions. Do not store below 5°C. Protect from frost.

Hazards: Non-flammable. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Keep out of reach of children. 

Clean-Up: Clean brushes immediately after use with water. Hard brushes may be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer.
