Restore Rust Remover is a water-based, non-toxic, biodegradable derusting concentrate.  As it does not contain any acids, only the rust is removed, leaving good metal undamaged.  As there are no acids, there is no danger of flash rusting occurring when parts are removed from the bath. The solution may be used over and over again until the solution becomes blackened and the reaction time becomes excessively slow. The residue is completely biodegradable and the used solution may be flushed down the drain without harm to the environment.

Usage Instructions: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE

Mix contents of bottle with 4.75 litres of tap water in a polythene or stainless steel container.

Degrease the part and remove loose and flaking rust to increase the life of the bath.

Suspend parts on wire and immerse in solution.

For light corrosion, check parts after an hour.

Remove parts and rinse in water.

Use a nylon brush to remover the grey/black deposit.

If corrosion persists or for heavy rust deposits repeat procedure as necessary.

When all corrosion has been removed scrub under running water and finally dip in the solution, hang to dry.

If using a stainless steel tank the solution may be heated to a maximum of 50°C to speed rust removal process.

When the solution becomes blackened and the process becomes excessively slow dispose of the solution down a drain, and make a fresh solution.
